Draw Poker Calculator

Type in a video poker hand to see which cards to hold, and the odds of every hand you could draw to.

Your hand

Rank (2-10, J, Q, K, A) then suit (c, d, h, s), separated by spaces. Ah is the ace of hearts; Td or 10d the ten of diamonds.

How it works

For each of the 32 ways to hold your cards, the calculator deals out every possible draw from the 47 cards you haven't seen and counts the hands they make — 2,598,960 draws in all, so the odds are exact, not simulated. A hold's expected return is what it pays back on average per coin bet, at the paytable's full-bet (5 coin) royal flush of 4,000.

Discarded cards don't come back, so they're never part of the draw. Pays are per coin.
