A few small server-side tools live here instead of being generated as plain pages -- they take input and compute an answer. The two Word Whomp helpers are the site's original 2014-era PHP tools (modernized to run on current PHP); the Wordle and Quordle guessers are new.
- Word Whomp Helper -- Enter up to 6 letters (any order) and get every dictionary word buildable from them.
- Word Whomp Whackdown Helper (Easy) -- Same idea, but for the 7-letter honeycomb puzzle -- only follows words through adjacent cells.
- Wordle Guesser -- Click tiles to mark your Wordle guesses gray/yellow/green and see which five-letter words still fit.
- Quordle Guesser -- The same thing for Quordle: nine shared guesses scored against four boards at once.
The Word Whomp helpers use WHOMP.LST, a list of everyday 3-6 letter words drawn from the public-domain 12dicts project. The Wordle and Quordle guessers use the much larger WORD.LST, so expect the occasional obscure word there.
